This detailed raised-relief trail map of Great Smoky Mountains National Park uses our precision thermoform molding process to realistically reproduce the park’s rugged terrain at a scale of 1:180,000. The map’s 20”x 11” image area covers the park’s more than 500,000 acres spanning North Carolina and Tennessee. A subtle elevation color ramp image enhances the changes in elevation while detailed annotations identify terrain features, trails (including the Appalachian Trail), shelters, campsites, and ranger stations, as well as rivers, streams, and lakes.
Available unframed or framed with four molding options - black aluminum, black poplar wood, light oak, and dark oak.
