Shipping & Return Policy

SHIPPING

Because Summit 3D maps cannot be rolled or folded, they must ship in large flat boxes and we use the most economical way to get the map to you in a reasonable timeframe. Maps going to AK or HI, and some maps going to the west coast, can be shipped via USPS to a PO Box; maps sent FedEx or UPS need an actual street address. We do not charge a handling or extra shipping fee.

TIMING

Summit Terragraphics normally fulfills and ships unframed map orders within 3 business days and framed map orders within 7 business days. If the order shipment is delayed beyond this period, we will generally contact you concerning the delay.Transit time via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground is normally 1 - 2 days for East Coast locations, 3 - 4 days for Colorado and the mountain west, and 5 days for the West Coast. 

 

RETURN POLICY

Your map will be shipped in a protective plastic sleeve and packaged in a sturdy cardboard box, but maps occasionally get damaged in transit. If your map arrives damaged or flawed, please contact Summit immediately at customerservice@summitmaps.com and describe the problem. Please include photos of the damage as well as the exterior of the box (in case we need to file a damage claim with the delivery company). We will work with you to get another map to you as soon as possible, or issue a full refund.

If the map arrives safely and has no flaw or problem, but you wish to return it anyway, please contact customerservice@summitmaps.com or call 240-203-8476 for  return authorization. Please repack the map carefully in the original shipping box and return it to Summit Terragraphics, 140 Western Maryland Parkway, Unit E2, Hagerstown, MD, 21740.

When the map arrives back at Summit undamaged, we'll credit your account for the price of the original product minus shipping.  There may be a re-stocking fee for framed maps because framing is a custom process; we do not keep framed maps in stock.
