With beautiful Lake Tahoe at its center, Summit’s Tahoe 3D Trail Map is a faithful recreation of the spectacular Tahoe terrain -- from the tip of Jobs Peak to the depths of Hell Hole Reservoir. This map uses a subdued and attractive earth-tone elevation color ramp image to add beauty and emphasize the changes in elevation. Along with the Pacific Crest Trail and the Tahoe Rim Trail, we’ve annotated smaller trails, roads and waterways, as well as downhill skiing, campsites, boat ramps, ranger stations, visitor centers, and other points of interest.
Deciding Between Framed or Unframed
This 3D chart is available in two forms: poster-style, convenient for pinning to a wall or bulletin board, or fully framed and ready to be displayed as art. We carefully trim, mount, and frame each map to ensure a perfect fit in a hand-assembled frame crafted of either solid oak or black anodized aluminum.
If you intend to showcase the map as decor, we encourage you to order a framed version up front. Our framed map prices are well below those of a typical framing shop, but we’re not able to provide frames separately for maps that have already been shipped.
