The molded raised relief is enhanced by an attractive elevation color-ramp base layer that graphically highlights the rise from the coastal lowlands to the western high plains and Davis Mountains. Key geographical features are marked and labeled, including towns, rivers, mountain ranges/peaks, and more. The bordering areas of neighboring states and Mexico are also shown in 3D for reference.
Deciding Between Framed or Unframed
This map is available in two forms: poster-style, convenient for pinning to a wall or bulletin board, or fully framed and ready to be displayed as art. We carefully trim, mount, and frame each map to ensure a perfect fit in a sleek black anodized aluminum frame.
If you intend to showcase the map as decor, we encourage you to order a framed version up front. Our framed map prices are well below those of a typical framing shop, but we’re not able to provide frames separately for maps that have already been shipped.
